Sorry....:(

I know that I haven't posted on here in a while and by a while I mean a LONG while!
I'm really sorry it is just because I have been  SUPER busy with revision :'( . However my exams are finally over *does little celebration dance* so now you can expect lots of posts to pop up including my spring shopping spree post or spring haul, I haven't decided what to call it yet so you will have to deal with the suspense.

Bye for now

Spring/Summer Bags!!

I love all things springy or summery! I have found a few of my favourite bags that are new this summer and put them together or you! Enjoy x

So first is this lovely daisy backpack. The daisy pattern reminds me so much of summer and is just so cheerful. I actually own this bag, I think that it is really good because it fits so much stuff in it and is great for school. I also comes with a detachable IPad case so it's a win win situation!
£35.00

Next is another Accessorize bag, which I personally think is really cool. Get ready for the big reveal....
It's just so quirky and modern. It is great because it could be used for a casual outfit or a more dressed up outfit, to me it's perfect!
£25.00

I'm hooked on the Accessorize website. To. Many. Nice. Bags This bag is so adorable! It reminds me of lemonade, for obvious reasons, and seems like the perfect size for Holliday essentials.

£22.00

This Topshop pineapple bag is a perfect bag for hand-luggage or days out! Being a backpack makes it really easy to wear and also really comfy and the pineapple print is beyond words. Sorry about the blurry image :0.
£34.00

That's it for this blog post because I don't want to bore your socks off, I hope you enjoyed it!
Have a nice spring :)

DIY 5 Minute Hair Bow

These are super easy and take barely any time to make, they also look great in all hair, and that's always a bonus! Sewing is optional which is great if you're as lazy as me. Anywayz sorry for the waffling, here's what you will need.
·         Fabric (obviously)
·         Hair grips/bobby pins
·         Fabric glue or a needle and thread
·         Scissors

Step 1
Choose your fabric, here I am using some fat quarters, which is basically a quarter yard of fabric used normally to quilt with.
Step 2
Cut some fabric that it is slightly larger than double the size of your desired bow.
Step 3
Cut a strip from the side of the fabric you have just cut, sorry for the bad explanation here is a picture to hopefully stop your confusion.

Step 4
Fold the larger bit of fabric in half, if you squeeze gently in the middle of the folded fabric you will see the shape of your bow. For a neater end product you can turn the fabric inside out and sew/glue along two of the edges and then along the last one later.
Your fold should look like this..

or this if you have chosen to sew/glue the edges....

Step 5
Take the slim strip of fabric you cut at the beginning and fold it so you can't see the edges. Next wrap it around the  bow like so...

(Sorry for my awful nails)

Step 6
Sew/ glue the strip of fabric round the back of the bow and then cut of the excess

Step 7
Slide a Hair grip into the back of the fabric ring you have just made and put the bow in your hair (if you want) Now you are done :)!!

I hope you have fun making a bow :)
Thank you for reading xx

My Favourite Winter Nail Colours

I hate painting my nails but I do love having painted nails, because of this minor setback I usually get my friends or family members to paint my nails :). My favourite colours are these ones below, in no particular order. Enjoy :)xx

As with many other nail polishes I am not quite sure of the name of this Jessica nail varnish, or the price for that matter. I assume that the price would be about £7.50 like many of the other of the 7.4ml colours. It is a really nice deep red that spreads really nicely and is very easy to apply. It doesn't chip that much and dries quite well.

Next is a colour that I know next to nothing about, this is because it was a present from a friend for my birthday a few years ago. I think that it may be from boots though I am not entirely sure. It is looking a little battered but hopefully that doesn't distract from the colour. It is a really pretty and shimmery gold which is a great Christmas colour especially with the tiny bits of glitter. It is not the best quality but the colour is amazing.
This colour is another unknown brand/name/price from the same set as the one before. It's quite old but has stood up to the age (yay). The deep purple is a really nice dark winter shade that has tiny bits of subtle shimmer in it. It looks really nice to wear and has a really regal feel to it.

Now for my Barry M colours which I love as they are so well priced but such good quality. Firstly I have a normal one in the shade bright purple (inventive). It costs only £2.99 which is a great price as it lasts really long and is perfect for autumn/winter. It is really great if you don't want a shade that is too dark but you do want a pop of colour.
Finally my second Barry M colour. This one is not strictly a winter shade, however I really like it as it reminds me of icicles and snowy days. It is quite a cool shade but it is a really pretty blue. It is one of the 'high-shine Gelly' colours and I really like these ones as they last really long and take only a few minutes to dry they are also super shiny:). It is a great price only £3.99, overall I love it :D.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed xx

Winter Coats

It may be well into winter now but that doesn't mean winter coat shopping is over! I love buying new coats for the winter as they are so cosy and warm. Right now I have a blue Duffle coat, like Paddington bear :). I got it from Matalan, basically because I couldn't afford any other shops, it is really warm and has tartan on the shoulders, I will put a picture and a link underneath. It only cost £45 which is actually quite reasonable for a coat that will last me 2-3 years. Unfortunately they don't do the coats in a UK size 4 or 6 so I had to get an 8 which is quite big on me.
(sorry about the scary model) I has really cosy lining on the leaves and at the front. I can never manage to do up the top toggle without strangling my self, its probably as I am small.
Matalan Duffle Coat
As you can see from my coat, I love Duffle coats, there just so cute and I always feel like Paddington bear when I wear them.  So have found a few more duffel coats below.
This one is from ASOS and is £85. I love the Tartan on the sleeves, it also looks the perfect size :).
ASOS Coat

This coat  is from Topshop and is very similar to the ASOS one. This one cost s£89 pounds but has the benefits of a high blend of wool.Topshop Coat
This Zara coat is slightly more pricey than the others, £109 but it does have the advantage of being a lot shorter and therefore more easy to wear and style.
Zara Duffle

I also love parka coats especially Topshop ones , they just look so warm and cosy. I am a big fan of coats with fluffy linings and furry hoods. Below you will find some more winter favourites of mine.
Here is a really nice casual parka from Topshop (no surprises there)  It costs £78 which is an OK price for Topshop. If I could afford it I would definitely buy it.Short Parka Topshop
Here is another Topshop Parka with a super fluffy hood, it costs £95. It looks really warm for winter and detachable lining.
Long Parka Topshop

This parka is slightly more on the edgy side with the Black sleeves. It is a good price, £55 and is from the Boo Hoo website.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed my rather long (for me anyway) post.

Happy shopping ;)

They have special grippiness on the bottom to stop you from slipping and they also have a soft fluffy lining to keep your toes extra toasty in the winter months.

Minus a pom-pom :(
